"Leadership Lessons Learned"
Lynn Good is president and CEO of Duke Energy, and serves as vice chair of the company’s board of directors. Previously, Good was Duke Energy’s chief financial officer, where she led the financial, information technology and supply chain functions. She has also served as group executive and president of Duke Energy’s Commercial Businesses organization, including all corporate development and merger and acquisition activities.
Prior to joining the company, Good was a partner with the accounting firms of Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen. She is a board member of the Edison Electric Institute, the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations, Hubble Inc., and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, and serves on the executive committee of the Nuclear Energy Institute. Good holds Bachelor of Science degrees in systems analysis and accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
