In remembrance of what would have been Maya Angelou's 90th birthday and the 50th anniversary of MLK's assassination -- both falling on April 4th -- the WFU Humanities Institute invites you to the "Maya Angelou, and ..." Teach-In on Tuesday, April 3rd. This teach-in event, open to WFU students, faculty, and staff, will take place in Tribble Hall and Wingate Hall and will consist of one-hour sessions on an academic topic connected to Maya Angelou's life and career. The event will take place from 5:00-7:00pm, and participants will be able to attend two sessions, one at 5:00pm and one at 6:00pm.
