THIS IS A PAST EVENT.
On September 5 & 6, the Humanities Institute and Pro Humanitate Institute will co-host a “teach-in,” in which faculty members will select texts, some from the Charlottesville Syllabus, and lead small group discussions. These discussions are open to students, faculty, and staff at Wake Forest. Each teach-in will have a separate common reading chosen by the faculty lead. Each session will be capped at 15 people and we will add sections if needed. After registering, please review the shared text(s) for your group in this Google folder, using your WFU login credentials. We hope that you will also join us for a panel discussion on race, politics, and the South moderated by Dr. Melissa Harris-Perry on September 7th in Wait Chapel.
Click on each individual session to view the faculty member leading that section.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration is required for this event. Use the "Register" link on this page.
